Alison Stuart

Our principal veterinarian, Alison, is a highly experienced veterinary surgeon with over 22 years clinical experience with companion animals.

After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1987 with First Class Honours, Alison studied overseas at the University of Guelph, Canada where she was awarded a Graduate Scholarship and obtained her Master of Science degree in Veterinary Pathology.

After practicing in Sydney for many years, in 2005, Alison and her family relocated to Port Macquarie where she worked part-time in a local practice. In 2007, Vet in a Van was established and has since expanded to include full facilities as Timbertown Veterinary Hospital.

Alison enjoys working with her clients and of course, their pets and finds giving personal and individual care and attention very rewarding.
